Incredulity, Amsterdam

 

Amsterdam has its fair share of street art but this one stood out. It's a work on paper pasted to a temporary wooden hoarding around a building site.

 

The legend “Blessed are those who have not touched but yet can feel” merited further investigation. A quick Google search revealed it to be based on the biblical story of St Thomas, ‘Doubting Thomas’.

 

Digging a little deeper the artwork turns out to be a pastiche of Caravaggio’s The Incredulity of Saint Thomas by street artist deliciou$brains. You can see more work by him/her/them here:
